Flotilla 4 Prevention Department

The Prevention Directorate is comprised of six Departments: Marine Safety, MS (including Marine Environmental Protection); Member Training, MT; Public Education, PE; RBS Program Visitation, PV; State Liaison, SL; and Vessel Examination, VE. The priority of these departments is all aspects of Recreational Boating Safety, and although each department has a different approach, the end result is a common goal.
